The Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar has been chosen for the Voice of Customer recognition under Airports Council International (ACI).
Six more airports in the country have also been chosen for the honour.
The Airports Council International has initiated the ‘Voice of the Customer' initiative to acknowledge and recognize airports that continued to prioritize their customers and are committed to ensuring their voice was heard, even during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.Apart from Bhubaneswar, six other airports - Chennai, Kolkata, Goa, Pune, Patna and Chandigarh have also been accorded with the Voice of Customer recognition.
As per a PIB release, the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey is a world-renowned and internationally established global benchmarking programme measuring passenger’s satisfaction, whilst they travel through an airport. It is conducted by the Airports Council International (ACI).
The Unit 1 wholesale vegetable market in Bhubaneswar will be shifted to the outskirts of the State Capital City. This was informed by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
According to BMC, Unit 1 wholesale vegetable market will be shifted to the new Haat at Bhagabanpur along the National Highway 16. A meeting in this regard was held today between the officials of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and the Housing and Urban Development Department.The decision to shift the wholesale vegetable market from Unit 1 has been taken with an aim to check traffic congestion in the Unit 1 area of the City.
Sources said that the new location, spanning 10 acres, will have cold storage facility and ample space for loading and unloading goods.
