India successfully test-fired BrahMos and Uran anti-ship missiles in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Indian Navy said the missiles were tested by the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC). The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile was fired from a ground-based launcher. The Uran anti-ship missile was launched from the Indian Navy’s Guided Missile Corvette. The Andaman & Nicobar Command said an ‘exNaval ship LCU38’ was used as the target. The Indian Navy confirmed that the target was hit at max range with devastating impact. The test of Brahmos comes after India signed a USD 375 mn deal for the missile with Philippines. Watch the full video for more.
