The problem of bent wheels is usually caused when you go over a pothole at high speeds and the impact between tyres and the road ends up damaging the wheel. Your car is all the more prone to this problem during monsoons where waterlogged streets often hide the potholes and you inadvertently end up hitting one.
Can a bent wheel be fixed?
If you have steel wheels, and a bent rim is your only issue, you can usually have the wheel repaired. If you have alloy wheels, there is typically no way to repair a bent rim. Even minor bends can crack if you try to repair them, so it's usually a good idea to just buy a replacement wheel.
How do I know if my wheel is bent?
