'India has to tread complicated path in negotiating its stand on Russia-Ukraine crisis': Tharoor

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on 29 March expressed his view on Centre's strategy over the Ukrainian issue saying that India has to tread a complicated path in negotiating its stand on the Russia-Ukraine crisis. While speaking on the strategy of the Centre over the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Thiruvananthapuram MP said that Financial Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s assumptions have no significant impact.

“One obvious impact of the Ukraine crisis is the dramatic increase in fuel prices. FM Nirmala had estimated oil at $75 per barrel but it is as high as $100 and in those circumstances, all her calculations and assumptions have no significant impact,” he said.
