Social Services Minister Anne Ruston says it’s a “fallacy” to suggest the Labor Party will be able to distance itself from the Greens.
“One of the things that we need to be really clear about is that you don’t even have to have a hung parliament for the Greens to have substantial power under a Labor government,” Ms Ruston told Sky News Australia.
“Every single day the Labor party will have to do a deal with the Greens to get anything through the Senate.”
