How to Find theProbability of Compound Events Using Tree Diagrams|Probability Tree Diagrams Examples

This tutorial video in probability focuses on finding the probability of compound events using tree diagrams. Specifically, it shows the correct use of tree diagrams in calculating specific probabilities of compound events or combined events. Furthermore, it includes examples of problems involving with replacement, without replacement, at least one, at most one, exactly one and such.

This is another tutorial video in the series of math tutorial videos on probability. This is usually taught in class 10 (grade 10 maths) or class 11 (grade 11 maths).

This video starts with a recall of the prerequisite concepts: definition of probability and how to draw a probability tree diagram. The links are as follows:

🎥 How to draw a tree diagram in 1 minute [shorts]: https://bit.ly/3jcgCU5

A recall of the definition of a tree diagram and example of drawing a tree diagram step-by-step is done at the beginning. The complete illustration of the tree diagram is shown for the given experiment.

This video contains 2 examples of finding probability of compound or combined events. One of them involves with replacement and the other withour replacement. Further, it also includes examples of probabilities that involves the use of the phares "at least", "at most" and "exactly". The processes in each of the items are explained and shown in a step-by-step manner using the tree diagram.

At the end of the video, a homework is given for you that serves as your independent practice in finding the probability of compound events using tree diagram. When you are done answering the items, you may write your answers in the comment section. Stay tuned for the answers in the next video.
