Queen Elizabeth will celebrate her 96th birthday at Sandringhampton this week. She is likely to spend some time at her Royal Stud and be driven around Wood Farm. Buckingham Palace does not intend to hold any significant public events to commemorate her birthday, but she will receive tributes from family and friends. Staff at Sandringhampton can't wait to welcome Her Majesty and wish her a happy birthday. Queen has strong emotional ties to the estate, which was adored by her late father George VI. The monarch's most recent visit was on February 5, where she made guests burst with laughter.
