Russia Holds Massive Military Drill Near Japan l Putin Preparing For New Conflict Amid Ukraine War?

Russia conducted massive military drills on the disputed Kuril islands, amid the ongoing Ukraine war. The exercise involves nearly 3,500 troops, Su-35, Mi-8 helicopters, Bastion-P coastal defence system, T-72B3 tanks & UAVs among others. The move is seen as a show of strength by Putin’s Russia against Japan. The move also comes after Moscow announced the suspension of territorial peace talks with Japan.
