Nicholas Ancerl, principal designer at Ancerl Studio, invites us into his own urban oasis. Originally a semi-detached home, Nicholas transformed this unique Toronto property into two narrow homes with exquisite architecture. A nearly 30-foot ceiling features reclaimed wood beams and soaring windows. Nicknamed the ‘Urban Barn’, see the unique features like exposed brick, cold rolled steel, and a contemporary fireplace that’s centred between the kitchen and living room. Step into the modern kitchen where walnut cabinetry acts as a facade to a hidden cook and prep area designed in a black phoenix material.
