BL makers in general have a theory that their will become classic if they don't give a happy ending, hence, they have to have at least made up conflict in the second last episode so that everything will fall in to place in the last. Sometimes it works, however, sometimes it makes the series hated even more. In this video, I looked into 2 recent BLs that did the angst part wrong.
