All-new BMW X1 teased ahead of global unveiling.
The new X1 will feature more grown-up styling, but the dashboard layout will be similar to the new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer.
A BMW dealer in France has advertised a preview event for the new X1 by releasing a teaser image of the next-gen SUV.
The new X1 is expected to get comprehensive changes to the exterior and interior with updated powertrains, and, for the first time, a full-electric version named iX1.
BMW has confirmed that the new SUV will arrive sometime this year.
New-gen X1 will be globally unveiled sometime this year.
BMW will offer full-electric iX1 version.
Expected to get petrol, diesel and plug-in-hybrid powerplants.
2023 BMW X1: what all will be new?
Details of the third-gen BMW X1 are scarce at the moment, but it is expected that the next-gen SUV  will come with several powertrain options.
Sources suggest that BMW is likely to equip the X1 with a 306hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the range-topping version – the same engine that currently powers the BMW M135i and BMW M235i.
