NATO troops perform stunning parachute exercise

MOMENT NATO troops perform a stunning parachute exercise in North Macedonia in joint drills amid the Ukraine conflict.

Troops from NATO countries performed parachute jumps and deployed from helicopters at a training centre in Krivolak in North Macedonia on Thursday (May 12) during the Swift Response 2022 military drills headed by the United States.

Swift Response demonstrates the ability of U.S. personnel to conduct multiple airborne operations from the Arctic Circle to the Balkans, U.S. Army Europe said on its website.

Approximately 9,000 service members from 17 Allied and partner nations are participating in the exercise, including some 2,700 U.S. personnel, U.S. Army Europe said.
