‘Credible Threat' Causes High School to Close for a Week

A Catholic school in California is closed for a week, after police say it received a “credible threat.” Faculty at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, hurried students into the school’s gym after classes on Tuesday, just as after-school activities were starting. Santa Ana Police say the threats appear to have been made by a former employee, and were directed towards the school itself, but not students. The threat remains under investigation.
