India lashes Pak for 'sponsoring' terror; Questions UN for allowing Islamabad to go 'scot-free'

India took a jibe at Pakistan for pushing cross-border terrorism. Speaking at the UN Security Council, RR Singh, MoS External Affairs said, "It is indeed a sad state of affairs that state sponsors of terrorism have been allowed to go scot-free. Any debate on accountability would be incomplete without taking into account the carnage wrought by terrorist forces, particularly those which are backed by State actors for pursuing political objectives." Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama, whose country is the President of the Council for this month, presided over the debate on "Strengthening accountability and justice for serious violations of international law". RR Singh added that India has suffered the scourge of cross border terrorism for decades losing thousands of lives. Watch this video for more details.
