A mischievous gang of outlaws fails to loot a small town. Pursued by a posse, they're forced to flee as far as they can until they reach the town of Refuge. There, the townsfolk act oddly and shun violence, alcohol, and guns. After the youngest member of the gang realizes that the townsfolk resemble a lot of famous heroes, he begins to uncover the truth about the small town.
