TUKARMGATE POLICE APPREHENDED (01) GANJA PEDDLER - SEIZED 15.600 KGs OF GANJA
The sleuths of Tukaramgate Police apprehended (01) Ganja Peddler Dasari Vilas Reddy for procuring and selling ganja illegally and seized 15,600 KGs of Ganja from the accused.
DETAILS OF THE ACCUSED:
Dasari Vilas Reddy S/o Srinivas Reddy, Age 32 years Occ: Out sourcing employee in Education Dept. at Paderu (V), R/o Old MLA house, Paderu (V), Vishakhapatnam, AP. State, Native of H.No. 49-266/8/6, Padma Nagar, Phase-I, Chinthal, Hyderabad.
FACTS OF THE CASE:
On 26-07-2022 at about 10.30 hours, received credible information that one person is having possession of Narcotic drug i.e. Ganja (Weed) at SBI ATM, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad and trying to sell the same to needy customers. Believing the information to be true, immediately Tukaramgate Police have apprehended him and took him into custody. On enquiry he revealed his name as Dasari Vilas Reddy S/o Srinivas Reddy, Age 32 years Occ: Out sourcing employee in Education Dept at Paderu, R/o Old MLA house, Paderu, Vishakhapatnam, AP State, N/o H.No. 49-266/8/6, Padma Nagar, Phase-I, Chinthal, Hyderabad.
On further enquiry he confessed that, he has procured ganja from an unknown person at Paderu (V) of Visakhapatnam (D) with an intention to sell the same to the needy customers in Secunderabad, Balanagar and other areas. Duly following the procedure, Tukaramgate Police seized dry ganja weighing 15.600 Kgs from the procession of the accused.
SOURCE OF PROCURING OF GANJA BY THE ACCUSED:
The accused is working as District Coordinator (Out sourcing) in Paderu. Due to his greediness of earning easy money and heavy demand of ganja in Hyderabad he procured ganja in Paderu from one unknown person and came to Secunderabad to sell the same to the needy persons to earn easy money illegally.
APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:
In recent times we have seen several youth/students are addicted to Ganja/Drugs, engaged in crime and other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach Police or pass information to Police to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug Free City.
The above arrest was made under the supervision of Sri G. Venkateshwarlu, Addl. DCP, North Zone and Sri. N. Sudhir, ACP, Gopalapuram Division by Sri R Yellappa, SHO Tukaramgate alongwith Sri S Shiva Raj, SI and his team.
