Mega Millions: At least 1 winning $1.28 billion jackpot ticket sold in Illinois

At least one winning Mega Millions $1.28 billion jackpot ticket was sold in Illinois, officials confirmed to ABC News.

Officials go on to say: "Any additional information is pending as Mega Millions completes the balancing process among participating lotteries. Once complete we will issue a release on the Mega Millions website."

Friday's winning numbers are: 13-36-45-57-67 Mega Ball: 14

Friday's jackpot was the third largest, behind $1.5 billion prizes won in 2018 and 2016.

There were 29 consecutive draws without a winner, a span that stretches back to April 15 when a Tennessee player matched all of the game's six numbers.
