Indian forthcoming G2o Presidency | Mukul Rohatgi set to return as next AG

India will assume the Presidency of the G20 for one year from 01 December 2022 to 30 November 2023. 2. Under its Presidency, India is expected to host over 200 G20 meetings across the country, beginning December 2022. The G20 Leaders' Summit at the level of Heads of State / Government is scheduled to be held on 09 and 10 September 2023 in New Delhi.
SENIOR ADVOCATE Mukul Rohatgi, whose persuasive skills have turned around many cases for his government and private clients, is likely to return as the country’s next Attorney General (AG).
Sources familiar with the matter said the government, which was scouting for names to succeed the current AG, K K Venugopal, has zeroed in on Rohatgi for the constitutional office.
