Atlas Salt President Rowland Howe from Great Atlantic: "Salt has so many uses in our lives today."

The North American salt industry is massive as evidenced by $5.2 billion (U.S.) in acquisitions since 2020. The premier undeveloped high-grade salt project in Canada and the U.S. is Atlas Salt's Great Atlantic deposit next to a deep water port in Western Newfoundland, targeted to serve the robust road salt sector which is suffering from a domestic production shortfall. At the helm of Atlas is Rowland Howe who previously turned Compass Minerals' Goderich into the largest underground salt mine in the world.
