Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says the most important thing the government can do for the economy is to ensure it takes a “sensible approach to the upcoming October budget”.
“And that it makes sure that its fiscal policy is in line with monetary policy,” she told Sky News Australia.
She said the Opposition hopes the government takes “a sensible approach” when they release their budget this month.
“Particularly to that high spending agenda that Labor took to the election.”
