Lucy Letby trial: Murder-accused nurse wrote 'I am evil, I did this'

A neonatal nurse accused of murdering seven babies allegedly left a handwritten note confessing to her crimes that read "I am evil, I did this".

Lucy Letby is alleged to have gone on a year-long killing spree while working at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

The notes were found following a search of her home.

Letby, 32, of Arran Avenue, Hereford, denies all the charges over the incidents at the Countess of Chester Hospital
