An entire tree of firewood for our new kid

Our second kid has landed, a beautiful little girl we’ve called Charlie. She also arrived in winter which meant my winter supplies of firewood were chewed through twice as fast as normal. So as winter rolled through spring into summer, and the last and worst wood got used up, I decided to take down a dead tree on our nature strip. It was the first time in a single session I’ve cut down, bucked up, split and stacked a tree in one hit.
