Here it is! As you a lot of you guys have requested, the ability to matchmake these two is now possible! I delayed this video two times, but I am glad I got it out now, when I was originally editing this video, it was about 42 minutes long, so I had to shorten it as much as I could. Some time ago, I expressed how I wanted to revamp the matchmaking system, so I was able to do the two things at the same time.
The two students we will be pairing up is my 1980s OC, Soul Petrov (suitor) and Daisaku Aragaki (crush). Personally I'm not a fan of how the matchmaking works in the game, some things I disliked was how the suitor had to change their appearance for their crush and how not some sort of friendship was formed between them before they fell in love. Keep in mind that this is a mod! It is not in the real game, you can download this matchmaking quest and add it to your Yandere Simulator below this paragraph.
In this revamp, it will take the entire week for the suitor's crush to fall in love with them by doing something nice for them throughout the five days of the week, in this specific case, matchmaking Soul and Daisaku can ONLY be progressed during the fifth week of 1980s mode (Ritsuko Chikanari's week) The matchmaking quest can be first triggered by eavesdropping on the conversation on the opening of this video that occurs in Monday, Lunchtime at 1:06PM
This video will show the progress of this quest. Since these two are non-rival characters, I had to think of a good benefit for it to be worth it. Two benefits come out of this. If you pair the two successfully, Soul will use his article abilities to write about whatever Ryoba desires, with this Ryoba can get a future rival eliminated instantly by bullying without her needing to gossip, in this video I used Komako as an example. (Normally you could do something like this if you joined the Newspaper Club and write an article badmouthing your rival, this only drops the rival's reputation a bit) The second benefit is that from Week 6 onwards, Daisaku will no longer patrol the hallways and instead monitor Soul as apart of his Enforcer duties, the two will spend time around eachother all day, this takes away the worry of one Student Council member for Ryoba. Daisaku will also have his guard down around Ryoba, but it won't change the fact he's still suspicious of her when she gets near him.
