After shooting a gun for the 1st time in Pistol 101, Harold felt semi-auto pistols like the Glock were too complicated for him, with too many steps to remember.
Also, for many elderly folks who have limited hand strength or arthritis, it can be difficult to rack the slide on a semi-auto.
There are assistive devices to help folks rack the slide easier but Harold wanted to try a revolver for his 2nd lesson.
He was happy we moved lessons outdoors for 2023 because he also found the indoor range uncomfortably loud at his 1st lesson.
Harold really liked the simplicity of loading and uploading a revolver and once he got a proper grip, he had no issue shooting a tight group at 5yds.
