Australians aren’t ‘passionate about a republic’

Sky News contributor Erin Molan says Australians “couldn’t really care less” about becoming a republic.

Ms Molan interviewed people on the street as part of her ‘Word on the Street’ segment for Credlin, and found Australians were ambivalent about changing Australia’s system of government from a constitutional monarchy.

“We looked far and wide for someone to be passionate about a republic, and we couldn’t find one,” Ms Molan said.
